DOODLE BOOK
A doodle prompt can be used with students to practice mindfulness. In this task students are given a simple prompt and they are encouraged to start drawing the first thing that comes to their mind. This is a method of art therapy. Art Therapy is used as a healthy way to deal with and process our emotions. We may be experiencing emotions of anger, sadness, or joy. It is important to emphasize to students that the objective of this activity is not to create something that is "good" or "bad". Rather, it is to use doodling as a method to help regulate and work through daily emotions.
